The Pittsburgh Steelers are behind the New England Patriots in the current AFC playoff picture, but they're unmatched in Pro Bowl talent.
The Steelers led the NFL with eight Pro Bowl selections, which were announced Tuesday. Among their selections were wide receiver Antonio Brown, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, running back Le'Veon Bell and injured linebacker Ryan Shazier. The Philadelphia Eagles, led by injured quarterback Carson Wentz, and New Orleans Saints each had six.
The Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears were the only teams not to have a representative.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was selected to his 13th career Pro Bowl, the most of any active player and tied for second in NFL history with Ray Lewis, Jerry Rice and Reggie White.
Among the notable first-time selections were Wentz, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen, Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa and Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey. The only four rookie picks were Saints running back Alvin Jamara and cornerback Marshon Lattimore, Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt and Arizona Cardinals special teamer Budda Baker.
The Pro Bowl will be held on Jan. 28, one week before Super Bowl LII, in Orlando.
